For week 3 at my CSL, my AT was away. I spent some time in guidance in the morning, which I was glad to do because it’s something I’d like to do after teaching for a while. I didn’t spend too much time though, because I left to join the school hockey team at their tournament. The boys played 3 games in 3 hours, so it was a fast and busy day. They won their first 2 games before losing on a last-minute goal in the final. It was a really fun experience to coach a team that I once played on. I was taking care of the defense; calling for changes, providing in-game advice, and making adjustments based on how the game was going. I look forward to continuing coaching, the team looks pretty good and they’re a nice group of kids. The team’s first regular-season game is Friday the 16th at 3, updates to come!
